The Project Y Fall Program:

“The Social Enterprise Spectrum”

High School students will learn about Social Enterprise, Philanthropy and what it takes to

transform their passion for different causes into real impact.

Students who complete the course will receive a Certification of Completion by Pepperdine University & OCCares. Many schools no longer accept online courses as volunteer hours so additional volunteer opportunities will be provided at the end of the sessions.

Zoom Session 1: Saturday Dec 3rd 1-3:00pm

What is a Social Enterprise? The full spectrum; from philanthropic to commercial

The Role of Change Agent; creating and embracing the vision and mission for your cause

Zoom Session2: Dec 10th 1-3:00pm

The Role of Change Agent; leading from inspiration to reality

The Opportunity Creation Process; from social need to social impact

The courses will be moderated by:
Thelma Gutierrez, MA Social Entrepreneurship and Former CNN Correspondent

and Katherine Ahn Wallace, DDS
Founder of OCCares & Aviara Centers
